Previously we have done this through the Reading Well Scheme.

However, earlier this year we decided that it needed revision, which is why all the books were removed, although the leaflets are still available.

The PPG decided that instead of providing a range of information on various conditions, it would focus on perhaps 4 or 5 a year.  

Our first attempt at this has been as a result of patient requests which was for more information/guidance/support on the subject of Autism. 

As a result, information from various organisations has been collected and is now on display on the PPG bookcase in the Alwoodley Medical Centre waiting area.
